Steve Reid has been Oil painting for over 40 years. The first 25 years of his career were spent in Hawaii, where he specialized in landscapes and seascapes. Since moving to the Seattle area in 1993 he has been drawn to the mountains and water vistas of the Pacific Northwest.

More recently Steve has developed a specialty in Pet Portraits–motivated by a love of two special dogs – Kuni and Kubie, who came into his life through his daughters. These works can be viewed in a separate website – OilPetPortraits.com.

Steve’s Art was featured on the cover of the Journal of Financial Services Professionals in March 2016. This publication has a subscription of several hundred thousand.

Steve works exclusively in Oils.
